I'd just like to say 'Thank You' to all of you that have took the time to look or comment on my blog.
I haven't visited it in a long time as my issue was done & dusted a while back.
I'm saddened to see that EH are still doing there worst to rip-off people.
The more you comment on this blog, the more chance there is other people will see it & steer clear of them or go into a deal with them with their eyes wide open.
If one more person stays clear of them because of this blog then it's one more person saving themselves from disappointment, upset & loss.

DeleteHe is dodgy. He screwed me over by failing to include something in his report. He failed to mention that diesel exhaust is carcinogenic and said it would be a burden to check diesel emissions on a vehicle with an emissions problem!
DeleteYou will need proof of the vehicle pre sale. You will also need to say to the insurance people that you purchased in good faith and were not aware that the vehicle had been altered.
DeleteJust to warn people to avoid at all costs. I now have a worthless car sitting in their garage and so we are in a stalemate situation.

ReplyDeleteI had a problem with Evans Halshaw Vauxhall Portsmouth branch.
They used pressure selling, misrepresentation of the fact and an issue with deposit refund. No customer service. Poor communication.

If you had any issue, please report them to Trading Standard and BBC Watchdog as well, to stop anyone else going through the similar issue.

they will rip you off big time, they sell cars with FAKE SERVICE HISTORY. There website states used cars come with full service history which they lie about. My car did not come with no service history at all what EVENS HALSHAW did is put in wrong service history to make you believe you got service history when you havent. EVANS HALSHAW do ripped you off big time.
I thought it was odd the owner lived in NORTHAMPTONSHIRE being first owner and then the vuaxhall corsa was service in 2013 and 2014 WHICH DON’T EXIST IT A BUNCH OF Lies IT FRAUD the garage perry motors never services it the CAR never had it in there garage before I brought from you is a fraud.
I don’t know the true history about the car I feel like I been ript off big time.
I am feeling so sick and depressed about it I feel suicidal about it being conned by EVANS HALSHAW.
When I phoned up PERRYS MOTORS SALES LTD, CLAYCLIFFE ROAD, BARUGH GREEN, BARNSLEY they never service the car and never had it in they never heard of it. So false stamps is fraud.
I fount out BRISTOL STREET MOTORS sold the car in DAVENTRY in NORTHAMPTON, why would the owner take it to BARNSLEY to get it service IN 2013 AND 2014 it don’t make sense when it lies.
I would have never brought a car with no service history paying £7500, I wouldn’t do that that why I pick your garage being a main dealership.
Under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 it must be true and honest.
You sold me the Vauxhall corsa 2012 with false service history making me believe it been service and have genuine mileage of 17850 miles.
NOW I KNOW THE CAR HAS NEVER HAD A SERVICE FROM DAY ONE no proper service history so I know the car had no service ever from day one being a 3 year old car end of march 2015 had no service done at all so evan halshaw sold me a car with no service history and had no service to date I WOULD HAVE NEVER BROUGHT IT.

ReplyDeleteAn expert is bound by their duty under civil Procedure Rules (CPR35). I have seen a Judge take a very dim view of parties making suggestions that an expert is bias. In simple terms, it would be like an MOT tester fraudulently completing MOT certificates. The MOT tester would never work again. It follows that to make such a claim, you would need to have the MOT certificate and be able to prove it was fraudulently completed!

ReplyDeleteI purchased a vehicle from Stratstone that they fully inspected yet they didn't check the emissions.
Lee Cookson in his report said it would be a burden to emissions test a vehicle and the judges accepted his report without question
I even have some psychological qualifications stating that Lee Cookson was a crook but the judges just didn't care as they were wicked people with no principles
I bought a fiesta zetec from evans halshaw in chorley in 2011 and was sold as a standard vehicle and had after market wheels and tyres which has voided my insurance, i was not made aware of this and nothing on the documents to say they were not ford alloys? I had an RTA on the 21st March which has left me at a great loss of over £3500 to fix the vehicle, it is currently sat on my drive at the moment, I have emailed the legal team @ Evans Halshaw and forwarded on to the Motor Ombudsamn - can anyone advise on this blog am i going down the correct route? i am awaiting a response from Pendragon at the moment.. any help will be much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteI have just been through court and was forced to let lee cookson inspect car - why the courts forced this I don't know!This man lied and manipulated everything in the purchasing garage and finance companies favour. I first won a small claims against the garage which was set aside ready for him to do his dirty work. When back at the final hearing this week, representing myself I was not allowed to question cooksons report and the court would not allow him to be there to be x examined. I do not understand how our justice system is so unjust toward the little people with out masses of financial backing. We are human beings with a right to fairness. How is this criminal looked at like a god to these judges?? The whole system stinks. This mans lies has left me with a many thousands of pounds debt that I cannot pay but it has been ordered to be paid in 14 days! We don't have a lot of money, genuinely, we are struggling weekly as it is, when all this started 3 1/2 years ago I was a single mum working very hard to keep roof over daughter's head, the stress this caused was immense - I even attempted suicide. This year we have had to put lees fees (forced by court) on credit cards. I mean the list is endless of the things he lied about and many would laugh at his thoughts put down! How how how???? I don't think there is anything to do but sharing a rant seems better than nothing, the way it makes you feel to be so unjustly treated is horrible. So guys I feel your pain and anger, if anyone has any ideas how to bring cookson down - count me in!!! Maybe if enough people join forces we can bring him down? I have no money to put to it but sure have a lot of fight for it!
ReplyDeleteI am experiencing the Cookson effect, he has made so many mistakes I fail to see how this fool can call himself an expert anything, he knew little of how my failed engine works and made himself look so stupid he had to go back to the insureds workshop and ask for a manual to see how it worked, this man has done his best to have my legitimate claim thrown out and this is purely because his expertise has been proven to be nothing of the sort, I now have his equivalent but in a lawyer representing the Insurance company QBE who from a few things he has said I believe to be not only a colleague of Cooksons using his services but a friend na he seemed to take um-bridge when I said he was an extremely stupid man !!! Im sorry but all the points Cockson got wrong were in a google search that took 5 mins, that to me equals stupid on a massive scale.

DeleteAlso HPL motors in Oldham were the ones that ripped me off - the mini broke down less than 3 months after purchase and threw up 13 severe faults - HPL wouldn't correspond with me to get it sorted, despite the mini being fairly new and v low mileage. Don't buy from HPL! This has taken over and impacted my life for years,
